How Clouds Form, and Predicting Weather

Hello today I will be telling you some basic information on how clouds form. Clouds are a beautiful force of nature that often are needed to help keep wildlife and humans alive. Clouds make water, humans and wildlife need water, so without any clouds there can't be water which means humans and wildlife can't really get a good source of water. But you also need ingredients to form a cloud without the proper ingredients a cloud won't form and like I said before, there won't be any rain which means no water. So here I will be telling you everything you need to create a cloud!

Clouds are formed by water in the air known as Humidity. Humidity is what makes the days often hotter then they should be. You can tell if there isn't any humidity in the air cause there often won't be any clouds. Clouds suck up the excess water on the ground and that is known as Evaporation. Once the clouds collect enough rain they start to turn grey and then let all of the water out and the Evaporation process starts all over again!

There are currently 4 different types of clouds that I have learned about.
Cirrus
A a bunch of straight lined clouds that often only cover bits of the sky.
Stratus
A cloud that often means it is probably going to rain. They are often grey.
Cumulus/Cumulus Nimbus
Often mean that there is bad weather on the way.
Cirrocumulus
Often found in the morning they are a bunch of small little clouds.

So that is some basic information on clouds! I personally like to look at clouds sometimes and take pictures of them. The End!

Hurricane Irma

Hello today I will be telling you about my experience with Hurricane Irma. We had to do a'lot of stuff to prepare for the storm. We packed up a bunch of bags of stuff we would need/want. We then stored the rest away into bins and bags in the Garage where they would be safe. After that we packed the stuff we needed into the car and made sure everything would fit with the dogs in there. Biscuit sat in the front seat, Mavrick sat in the middle in the back seat and Lucky sat in the trunk.

We first went to Alabama which was very interesting. The Motel we stayed at was on the bad side of town. The room we got was small and smelly but not too bad. We were decently close to a store and other important places. The next day Irma changed its path and was headed right for Alabama so we decided to leave. We left for North Carolina at about 6:00 AM and arrived at about 7:00 PM.

Once we got to NC we stayed in our Aunts Camper. It was freezing there from Irma blowing cold winds into NC and SC. We ordered pizza when we got there and went to bed around 9:00 PM. The next morning we woke up at around 6:30 AM and took the dogs for a walk and fed them. We repeated this for 2 more days and then left for Florida.

When we left it was raining all through NC. We saw three deer and some little Piglets. The drive home was pretty boring and tiring. Once we got to Florida we saw lots of flooding and tree damage but nothing major. When we got home our power was out of course and it remained that way for about 3 days.

So that is my experience with Hurricane Irma. The end!

How to Make Fluffy Slime

Hello and today I will be telling you how to make Fluffy Slime. This is my Writing Final. I love to make Slime. It's extremely cheap and easy to make. So let's get started!

The stuff you need to make Fluffy Slime is: a bowl/spoon, glue, shaving foam, food colorig,Borax Solution and a bowl/lid. The food coloring is optional. You can also use other stuff to make your slime smell and decorate it. You could use glitter, beads or vanilla extract. There are many other options as well. Let's get to it!

First add your glue into your mixing bowl then add quite a bit of shaving foam. Stir it with your spoon after you've added the glue and shaving foam in. Add in some food coloring if you don't want your slime to be just white. Stir your food coloring into the glue/shaving foam with your spoon. Now add your Borax Solution in very slowly, only use a few drops at a time. The slime should start to form into a non sticky substance. Once you can poke it without it sticking to your hand pick it up and start to play with it. If your not happy with it add a bit more Borax Solution to it.

Now for some Slime tips.
Some Slimes are non toxic but this one is not since it does include Borax don't eat it and wash your hands after using it. Never get your slime wet. Ir will turn into a watery mess. Always make sure your lid is on tightly or else your slime will dry out and become clay like. Don't add a ton of shaving foam to it when your done or else it will dry out. Always make sure you use your slime where if you drop it it wont get dirty.

I hope this helped you in making your Fluffy Slime! You can always add more slime to that slime if you want. Goodbye!
